Our client, a recognised business services company based in the south-west, is currently seeking an Finance Manager to join their dynamic team on a 12 month fixed-term contract.
As the Finance Manager, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the company and assisting senior management by preparing and reviewing financial information, as well as producing reports, budgets, and financial forecasts.
The responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain comprehensive financial models and detailed reports.
- Collaborate with managers across the business to provide consolidated performance reports and commercial insights.
- Support the budgeting and forecasting processes.
- Assist in producing and reviewing accurate monthly management accounts and underlying reconciliations.
- Enhance finance processes and systems for improved efficiency.
- Complete all tasks with an understanding of their impact on client outcomes and the company's obligations.
- Stay up-to-date on training and report any concerns regarding client outcomes, foreseeable harm, or unfair treatment to senior management.
The candidate:
- Qualified accountant with proven experience in a similar role.
- Proven experience developing and maintaining financial models and reports that provide commercial insights.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with exceptional attention to detail.
- Advanced Excel proficiency and financial modelling expertise.
