Salary: £28,000 per annum + Bonus

In this dynamic role, you will oversee and manage payroll operations, ensuring timely, accurate, and efficient payroll processing for the entire organisation. This is a chance to work closely with various teams, including IT, to improve and optimise payroll systems-keeping everything running smoothly!

What You'll Do:

  • Deliver precise payroll processing, ensuring all deadlines are met.
  • Manage payroll amendments for new starters, leavers, contract changes, and tax code updates.
  • Input and validate timesheets, expense claims, and other payroll data.
  • Handle statutory payments and deductions, including maternity and paternity leave calculations.
  • Address payroll-related inquiries from employees, management, and external contacts with professionalism.
  • Collaborate with the IT team on payroll system upgrades-ensuring thorough checks before any system implementation.
  • Undertake any other duties as directed by your Line Manager.

Who You Are:

  • Qualification & Experience: You either hold a recognised payroll or accountancy qualification or bring substantial professional experience in payroll.
  • Expert Knowledge: You have in-depth knowledge of payroll systems, taxation, and national insurance, and you can apply this expertise with ease.
  • Tech-Savvy: With advanced skills in Word and Excel, you're no stranger to databases and IT tools.
  • Experience: You have recent hands-on experience managing payroll operations.
