Kitchen Porter - The Excel London
Role and Responsibilities:
- Cleaning and sterilising countertops, kitchen walls, stoves, ovens, grills, stinks and equipment
- Cleaning the kitchen once it's closed to ensure it's ready for the next day
- Maintaining the food storage areas including freezers and refrigerators
- Washing of dishes, cutlery, pots, pans etc
- Follow all Health and Safety requirements
- Follow all company and statutory policies and procedures
- Waste management
- Weekly cleaning of all grease traps o Ensure proper use of recycling & food waste systems
- Correct usage of both waste rooms
- Supporting the Chef in food preparation and provided assistance as needed
- Ensure good communication and maintain professional relationships with peers
