Morgan Hunt are delighted to be working with a College based in the South Yorkshire who are currently seeking a Carpentry & Joinery Lecturer, to join their team on a full time permanent basis.
The College are ideally looking for someone who has some previous experience teaching and qualification, however, do require Site Joinery quals or Bench Joinery with Site.
Requirements
- Site Joinery or Bench Joinery qual.
- Ideally, have previous experience teaching, however, not essential.
- A teaching qualification is desirable and not essential.
The ideal candidate
- A strong understanding of the Carpentry industry, including current trends, legislation, and best practice.
- Be passionate about educating the next generation of Carpenters and have experience dealing with learners with challenging behaviour.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and motivate students from a range of backgrounds.
- A commitment to delivering high-quality teaching and learning, and to supporting students to achieve their full potential.
