Reed Accountancy and Finance are currently assisting an established client on the outskirts of Horsham in the recruitment of a part-time Finance Manager to join their existing team. Reporting to the Managing Director, this role is integral to the financial operations of the company, encompassing a range of responsibilities from credit control to liaising with external accountants.
Day to Day of the role:
- Managing credit control processes to ensure timely payments and cash flow.
- Conducting weekly pay runs and handling ad hoc payments, which may occasionally be required after hours.
- Reviewing and reconciling Profit/Loss statements in accounts, ensuring accuracy between Xero and quantum figures.
- Reconciling commissions for sales personnel
- Managing security deposit recoveries.
- Liaising with external accountants for financial reporting and compliance.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proven accounts experience and the ability to manage financial operations independently.
- Availability to work approximately 22 hours per week over 3 days.
- A focused and driven individual with strong communication skills.
- Proficiency in IT with previous experience using Xero highly desirable.
