Handyman/Maintenance Support

- Hours: 7:30am - 4pm / Friday 7:30am - 12pm (early finish)
We are seeking a dedicated Handyman/Maintenance Support to join our team. The role involves general cleaning duties and support of the Operations function, covering both internal and external areas of the site. This position offers a consistent schedule from Monday to Thursday, with an early finish on Friday, and the potential for overtime. The role is hands-on and will involve manual labour, including some heavy lifting.
Day-to-day of the role:
- Perform general cleaning duties to support the Operations function, ensuring all internal and external areas of the site are maintained.
- Responsible for the emptying and segregation of operations-generated waste streams, including swarf, waste oils, paint residue, etc.
- Assist team members and contractors in repair and upkeep activities for Facilities, Plant, and site maintenance.
- Undertake additional duties as required by the company and/or your Line Manager, which may vary from time to time.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proven experience in handyman services or maintenance support.
- Ability to handle various tools and equipment for cleaning and maintenance tasks.
- Knowledge of waste segregation and disposal, particularly in an operations or manufacturing environment.
- Good organisational skills and the ability to work independently.
- Flexibility to take on additional tasks as needed.
