Role Overview:
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join our team. The successful candidate will work closely with children with autism, helping them to achieve their full potential in a caring and supportive setting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide one-on-one and small group support to children with autism.
- Assist in the implementation of individualized education plans (IEPs).
- Foster a nurturing and inclusive classroom environment.
- Collaborate with teachers, therapists, and parents to support each child's development.
- Use a variety of teaching methods to engage and motivate students.
- Monitor and record students' progress and provide feedback.
Requirements:
- Experience working with children with autism or other special educational needs.
- A patient, empathetic, and nurturing approach.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Relevant qualifications or training in special education (preferred but not essential).
- A commitment to the well-being and development of every child.
