We are seeking a dedicated and meticulous Purification Shift Technician to join our team. This role is pivotal in the large-scale purification of antigen used in Foot-and-Mouth Disease (FMD) and Bluetongue Virus (BTV) vaccine production, adhering strictly to UK and Health, Safety and Environment (HSE), Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) and bio-security regulations. The successful candidate will enjoy a competitive salary of £16-18 per hour, based in the vibrant location of Pirbright. What you'll do:

As a Purification Shift Technician, you will play a crucial role in the manufacturing of purified antigen for vaccine production. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include operating and maintaining the process plant, performing various laboratory duties, and recording data meticulously. You will also be expected to work harmoniously with other staff members, maintain a clean working environment, and actively contribute to continuous improvement initiatives. This role requires a high level of commitment, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask effectively.
