We are currently hiring for a Grounds Maintenance Operative for our large client in Bridgwater. This role is due to start in June and run until November 2024. The purpose of this role is to undertake a wide range of horticulture and grounds maintenance duties.
Job Description: -
- Carry out all aspects of amenity horticulture throughout all parks and green open spaces.
- Weeding, grass cutting, clearing of litter and ensuring areas are clean and tidy.
- To act on own initiative and work unsupervised at times.
Candidate: -
- Proven experience in general amenity horticulture.
- Knowledge and understanding of Health & Safety in the workplace.
- Ability to carry out aspects of landscaping.
- Essential to have a drivers license and be comfortable driving a 3.5t van.
- Own PPE essential - work safety boots, hi-vis & gloves.
Shift Time: -
- Monday to Friday 07:30am until 16:00pm
