Business Development Engineer
Homebased with travel
Basic salary £44K - £46K plus commission

This remote role requires travel across the southwest to visit existing and potential clients. Be ready to make your mark in the industry!
Responsibilities:
- Supporting distributors and customers in the South-West region including Chichester, Andover, Swindon, Banbury, Gloucester and South Wales and everywhere in between
- Growing the existing customer base and developing new business opportunities.
- Answering technical queries through phone and email.
- Visiting customers to recommend, specify, and introduce adhesives into their production line.
- Providing support for complaint investigation and troubleshooting.
- Conducting technical and new product training sessions for distributors.
- Assisting in manning exhibitions when required.
- Tracking sales leads, samples, and projects, ensuring regular feedback from customers and distributors.
- Supporting new product launches and promotional activities.
- Negotiating and providing pricing and quotations for customers.
Requirements for this role:
- Proven sales experience, demonstrating your ability to drive results.
- A strong technical aptitude, enabling you to understand and communicate product details effectively.
- Exceptional relationship-building skills to foster long-term customer partnerships.
- The ability to manage a territory as if it's your own business.
- Confidence in converting leads into successful sales.
- A full driving licence and access to your own vehicle.
- Successful candidate to ideally live in Swindon, Bath or Gloucester area to have good access to territory.
