Digital Merchendising Executive - Contract Opportunity

We're working with a forward-thinking retail and healthcare group looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Digital Merchendising Executive to support their digital trading and merchandising activity across multiple consumer websites.
You'll play a key role in ensuring product listings are accurate, engaging, and optimised for both conversion and discoverability, while collaborating closely with trading and marketing teams to support ongoing campaigns.
**Key Responsibilities
- List new products across multiple ecommerce sites, ensuring timely and accurate uploads to support marketing activity.
- Create compelling, SEO-friendly product content and ensure imagery meets brand standards.
- Manage product categorisation and site taxonomy for improved navigation and searchability.
- Merchandising homepage and category banners in line with seasonal and promotional activity.
- Test promotional codes and pricing to ensure smooth customer experiences across platforms.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to align on product priorities, promotions, and content strategy.
- Analyse performance of merchandising and personalisation tools to inform improvements.
- Support in compiling ecommerce performance reports and regular trading updates.
- Monitor competitor activity for pricing, range, and promotional benchmarking.
- Research and suggest digital tools and technologies (including AI) to improve processes and customer experience.
- Maintain up-to-date pricing and site content to ensure accuracy at all times.
**About You
- At least 1 year of experience in digital marketing or ecommerce, or 2+ years in a similar role without a degree.
- Comfortable using ecommerce platforms or content management systems.
- Good understanding of merchandising fundamentals and ecommerce best practices.
- Confident using spreadsheets (Excel or Google Sheets) for data management.
- Experience working in a fast-paced, multi-site retail or digital environment.
- Self-starter with strong time management skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks.
- Analytical mindset with a willingness to learn and adapt to new tools and digital trends.
- Excellent communicator and collaborative team player.
