We are seeking a dedicated Paraplanner to join a great team, taking responsibility for preparing detailed financial planning strategies tailored to clients' individual objectives. This role is pivotal in maintaining the highest compliance standards and providing clear context to clients throughout their advice journey. As a Paraplanner, you will support Financial Planners by focusing on client needs and objectives, developing financial planning strategies, and ensuring all documentation meets regulatory requirements.

Day to Day of the role:

  • Conduct thorough analysis and research to determine the most suitable outcomes for clients, ensuring judgements on suitability are in line with regulatory and internal standards.
  • Undertake whole of market research on new and existing clients using various analytical tools.
  • Provide clear, professional communication to advisers, including rationale for advice quality outcomes.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to improve quality outcomes and maintain compliant files.
  • Maintain strong relationships with advisers and Compliance Departments.
  • Contribute to the design and implementation of quality standards, identifying trends and proposing solutions to meet required standards.
  • Work efficiently to meet individual productivity targets and objectives while maintaining client confidentiality.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry knowledge to support advisers and communicate effectively with the team, focusing on continual service improvement.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Relevant professional qualification (CII Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning or equivalent at Level 4 or above) is essential, or must be achieved within 12 months.
  • Previous Paraplanning or Advice experience is preferred.
  • In-depth knowledge of assessing the suitability of advice outcomes.
  • Detailed understanding of Pension and Investment products.
  • Working knowledge of Risk, Compliance, and Advice in UK financial services.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to engage with all levels.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills for effective working relationships.
  • Flexibility and adaptability in a changing environment.
  • Professional, enthusiastic, and positive attitude.
  • Excellent organisational and prioritisation skills, with the ability to handle multiple deadlines.
