Day-to-day of the role:
- Teach Geography to KS3 and KS4 students, creating a vibrant and engaging learning environment.
- Develop and deliver lesson plans that captivate students and encourage their curiosity about the world.
- Assess and monitor student progress, providing feedback that supports their academic growth.
- Collaborate with colleagues within the Geography department to share resources and best practices.
- Participate in departmental and school-wide professional development opportunities.
- Contribute to the school's culture of academic excellence through innovative teaching strategies.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in Geography or a related subject.
- Experience teaching Geography at secondary school level.
- Strong knowledge of the geography curriculum and a passion for the subject.
- Excellent classroom management skills and the ability to inspire students.
