Multiskilled Lecturer

We are a dynamic further education college dedicated to delivering exceptional education and training. We invite a Multiskilled Lecturer to join our team and contribute to the diverse educational journey of our students aged 16 and over to teach up to level 3. You will be instrumental in providing both academic and vocational instruction, ensuring our learners are well-equipped for their future careers.
Day to day of the role:
- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans and teaching materials tailored to the needs of diverse learners.
- Deliver high-quality lectures, seminars, and classroom sessions across a range of subjects.
- Assess student work and provide constructive feedback to support their academic growth.
- Conduct one-on-one tutorials to encourage personal development and guide students on their educational path.
- Facilitate work experience placements and liaise with employers to enhance student employability.
- Collaborate with colleagues, attend staff meetings, and engage in continuous professional development.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- A degree in a relevant academic field or substantial experience in a vocational area.
- A teaching qualification, such as a PGCE, is highly preferred.
- Strong communication and listening skills to effectively engage with students and staff.
- Proficiency in IT to enhance the learning experience and administrative efficiency.
- A commitment to fostering an inclusive learning environment that supports all students.
