About the Role
We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated teacher to deliver A-Level Chemistry to a group of motivated students. This is a full-time, permanent role where you will have the opportunity to shape the future of Sixth Form students and contribute to the development of an expanding Science Faculty.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging and high-quality lessons in A-Level Chemistry and Applied Science
- Inspire students to achieve their academic and higher education aspirations
- Collaborate with a passionate team to further develop and enhance the Science curriculum
- Support the growth of new Sixth Form and contribute to a positive learning environment
- Maintain high standards of teaching, ensuring excellent student outcomes
What We're Looking For
- A qualified teacher with deep knowledge for Chemistry and a solid understanding of A-Level content
- A creative and innovative approach to teaching, with a focus on student engagement and achievement
- Ability to work collaboratively within a supportive and expanding Science team
- ECTs and experienced QTS teachers are both encouraged to apply
- Strong subject knowledge and a commitment to student success
Required Qualifications and Skills
- A registered teaching qualification (PGCE/QTS/QTLS) for either post-compulsory or secondary education
- Enhanced DBS disclosure (subject to checks)
- Full employment/education history on your CV (including explanations for any employment gaps)
- The legal right to work in the UK without restrictions
