Azure Pre-Sales Solutions Lead

Join Sopra Steria's Government and Transport sector as our new Azure Practice Solutions Lead. This pivotal role will see you working hand-in-hand with the Practice Director to redefine our Azure business with innovative solutions and propositions built on the Microsoft platform. As a senior member of our team, you'll have the unique opportunity to steer technical direction, foster team growth, and establish a robust pre-sales capability.

In this dynamic role, you will collaborate with the Azure Practice Director to define core propositions across Azure, M365, and Endpoint, driving the formation and expansion of the team.

What you'll be doing:

  • Create and develop Microsoft cloud propositions, working closely with other members of the Senior Leadership Team and the CTO office.
  • Work with commercial and sales to develop our commercial models for Microsoft cloud delivery and engage in sales activities in conjunction with our business development/sales teams.
  • Work as part of the Practice leadership team to drive our strategic partnership with Microsoft to support and enable innovation, investment and growth.
  • Present and demonstrate to existing and new clients our cloud solutions and capability, ensuring the relevance and quality of solutions.
  • Participates in leading the practice while helping to create a positive and motivating environment. This includes contributing to the career development of the team.

What you'll bring:

  • Proven experience in Azure and Microsoft 365 with a technical/pre-sales background and experience in Microsoft technology deployments.
  • Demonstrable knowledge of Microsoft solutions and their application to a clients cloud strategy.
  • Expertise in cloud infrastructure, cloud migrations and modern cloud native application design.
  • Good command of the market in their domain: competitor products, trends, changes in regulations.
  • Microsoft Azure Solutions Architect Expert.
  • Microsoft Cyber Security Architect Expert.

It would be great if you had:

  • Microsoft DevOps Engineer Expert.
  • M365 certification or business change.
  • Experience with Co-Pilot.
