Job Title: Ecologist
Salary: £27,000 - £32,000
Location: Surrey
We are looking for an Ecologist to join a specialist ecological consultancy in Surrey. The position is ideal for Ecologists looking to progress in their career, with a variety of projects and unrivalled CPD and training opportunities on offer.
As an Ecologist your duties will be:
- Planning and co-ordinating field surveys, analysing and interpreting survey results;
- Undertaking field surveys and managing survey data;
- Authoring ecological reports, including Preliminary Ecological Appraisals;
- Undertaking mapping using QGIS; and assisting with bid preparation and building client relationships.
To be considered as an Ecologist you will need:
- A degree in ecology, biology, zoology or closely related field
- Experience in ecological consultancy
- Excellent communication skills
- A full valid UK/EEC driving licence.
