The Recruitment Crowd are currently recruiting on behalf of our well known and industry-leading client based in the Holywell area. We are looking for several dedicated van drivers to join the team.
Hours: 40 hours per week across 4 days, Monday to Sunday. 8am until approximately 7pm on a rota planned in advance.
Pay Rate: £11.44 per hour PAYE to begin with, an £85 monthly attendance allowance and a wage review after one month of proven dedication.
Location: Liverpool, L6.
Job Type: Permanent.
The role:
- Collect invoices from the office and the pre-loaded vehicle at the start of each shift.
- Deliver stock to customers across various locations.
- Handle cash and card payments on-site.
- Perform handball duties, including delivering cases and kegs of alcohol and soft drinks.
- Complete 10-20 drops per day efficiently and professionally.
- Safely and efficiently operate a curtainsider transit van, reporting any defects to management.
Requirements:
- A valid UK driver's licence.
- Proven experience as a Van Driver with a clean record.
- Ability to handle physical work, including lifting and moving heavy items.
- Excellent time management and organisational skills.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Familiarity with using payment handling equipment.
