The Role

As a Scientist I, you will support the daily scientific activities within our laboratory, contributing to the advancement of animal-free testing through high-quality in vitro studies and routine laboratory maintenance.

Performing in vitro studies, you will demonstrate the safety and efficacy of products for various clients across different industry sectors, including cosmetics, biocides, medical devices, household products, agricultural products, and industrial chemicals.

You will be responsible for the routine maintenance of human cell cultures and the overall lab environment, ensuring that cell cultures are properly maintained and that the laboratory is well-organised and equipped for daily operations.

Additionally, you will:

- Assist in the setup of new test methods
- Ensure the timely completion of all associated documentation
- Engage in scientific discussions with the team
- Conduct non-regulatory studies and contribute to innovation of testing methodologies

About You

To be considered as a Scientist I, you will need:

- A degree in a Life Science subject
- The ability to comprehend and scrupulously implement the requirements of GLP and GDP
- The ability to manage multiple tasks and tight deadlines with confidence and ease
- Good organisational skills
- Proficiency in MS Office applications, including Microsoft Excel
- Attention to detail

Experience with cell culture, flow cytometry, spectrophotometry, HPLC, in vitro toxicology tests, and GxP would be beneficial to your application.
