- Get involved in the heart of financial operations for a multi-site organization
- Contribute to month and year-end procedures for sites
- Play a key role in reconciling supplier accounts and processing BACS payments
Key Responsibilities:
- Create and process Purchase Orders as requested
- Enter invoices against Purchase Orders on Sage and prepare supplier accounts for BACS payments
- Carry out month and year-end procedures, including Purchase Order reconciliation, prepayments, and accruals
- Reconcile cashless payments and manage income tracking
- Support month-end processes
Preferred Requirements:
- Have worked in a medium/large finance team (ideally Shares Service Centre)
- Prior experience in financial data capture and entry
- Proficiency in using accounting software
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines efficiently
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- Studying towards professional certification (e.g., AAT) is a plus
- Relevant finance or accounting training and development
