Role and Responsibilities:
As a Design Technology Technician, you will play a crucial role in supporting both students and teachers within the workshop. Your responsibilities will include:
- Preparing Materials: Ensuring all materials and equipment are ready for lessons and projects.
- Maintaining Equipment: Regularly inspecting and maintaining tools and machinery to ensure a safe and efficient working environment.
- Supporting Students: Assisting students during practical sessions, providing guidance on the use of tools and materials, and encouraging their creative and technical skills.
- Assisting Teachers: Supporting teachers in delivering engaging and effective lessons, including setting up demonstrations and providing technical advice.
- Health and Safety: Ensuring all health and safety regulations are followed, conducting risk assessments, and promoting a culture of safety within the workshop.
Qualifications and Skills:
