Graduate Teaching Assistant - September Start
Two Schools in Wimbledon are seeking Graduate Teaching Assistants to start in September.
Pay rate: £85 - £110 per day (based on experience)
Tempest Resourcing are currently seeking graduates who are looking to work as Teaching Assistants. These roles are available at an Ofsted rated 'Good' Secondary schools situated in Wimbledon working on a full-time basis (Monday to Friday).
These roles are open to graduates of any discipline, these opportunities are ideal for graduates considering a career in teaching within either a Primary or Secondary school. As a Teaching Assistant you will be offering students and staff support which could be some or all the following areas - 1:1 classroom support, SEN support, offering general classroom assistance and exam invigilation.
These roles commence from now on a full-time basis and you will be working for the remainder of the academic year. These roles will provide graduates with invaluable skills and experience necessary to become a successful teacher and will also support securing a position on an upcoming teacher training programme.
Also, the successful candidates will benefit from ongoing support from a dedicated education specialist consultant, competitive pay (£85-£110) as mentioned above, and by signing up with Tempest Resourcing you are able to accrue holiday pay which can be taken at any point and be enrolled to our pension scheme.
What do you need?
- A bachelor's degree (or similar)
- A desire to work with children and guide their learning development.
- Aspirations to become a teacher (not essential)
- Availability to work school hours (between 8:30am - 4:00pm)
- Some relevant experience working with young people (preferable)
