Location - Rochester
Salary - Highly competitive DOE
Hours - Rotating shifts: 6 am - 1.30 pm or 1.30 pm - 9 pm on a weekly rotating pattern OR there is a night shift 9 pm - 6 am

Our client, an established and expanding print company is looking for a Gluing Operator to join their team.
Responsibilities for the role of Gluing Operator
- Setting up gluing machines according to product specifications and job orders.
- Operating the machine to apply glue accurately on various materials like paper, cardboard, or other substrates
- Monitoring the gluing process to ensure adherence to quality standards
- Inspecting finished products for defects such as improper adhesion or misalignment
- Adjusting machine settings to correct any issues affecting quality
- Performing routine maintenance on gluing machines to ensure optimal performance
- Troubleshooting and fixing minor mechanical issues
- Reporting major mechanical problems to maintenance personnel
- Communicating with team members and supervisors about production status and any challenges
- Working with quality assurance teams to ensure product standards are met
Specification for the role of Gluing Operator
- Will have a least 3 years' worth of experience in the print industry
- Must have a high level of accuracy and attention to detail to ensure quality and precision in the gluing process
- Will have a basic understanding of mechanical and electrical systems
- Can read and interpret technical documents and blueprints
- Must have previous experience operating gluing machines or other similar industrial machinery
- Will be capable of lifting and moving heavy materials as required
- Will be comfortable wearing PPE for H&S regulations
