Aspire People, a reputable education recruitment agency, is seeking a fully qualified Year 1 Teacher for a full-time position at a lovely primary school in Southam. This role commences in September and will continue until the end of the next academic year.
Key Responsibilities:
Delivering the Year 1 curriculum with full teaching responsibilities, including planning, preparation, and marking.
Creating a positive and inclusive learning environment.
Monitoring and assessing pupils' progress.
Communicating effectively with parents, colleagues, and external agencies.
Ensuring a safe and stimulating classroom environment.
Requirements:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is mandatory. We cannot accept applications without QTS.
Proven experience teaching in Key Stage 1 (KS1), ideally Year 1.
An enhanced DBS on the update service or willingness to obtain one prior to starting.
Strong understanding of the Year 1 curriculum and assessment methods.
Excellent communication and organisational skills.
