We are seeking a dedicated and inspiring Business Studies Teacher capable of teaching up to A Level. This role is an exceptional opportunity for those who wish to grow and contribute to a community that values character and academic excellence equally.
Day to Day of the Role:
- Deliver a broad, balanced, relevant, and differentiated Business Studies curriculum to students.
- Monitor and support the overall progress and development of students.
- Facilitate a learning experience that enables students to achieve their individual potential.
- Contribute to raising standards of student attainment and share the academy's commitment to providing opportunities for personal and academic growth.
- Engage in operational and strategic planning, including lesson planning, resource development, and contributing to the departmental plan.
- Act as a form tutor, providing pastoral support and guidance to students.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Hold QTS (or equivalent) and a relevant undergraduate degree.
- Successful teaching experience at secondary level, ideally including experience in multi-ethnic urban schools and of working in an 11-18 school.
- Understanding of effective teaching and learning strategies.
- Knowledge of National Curriculum requirements at KS3 and KS4.
- Ability to work as part of a team and develop positive relationships with all staff.
- Proficient ICT skills, ideally including the use of interactive whiteboards.
- Ability to create a motivating and safe learning environment.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and spoken.
- Strong leadership, time management, and motivational skills.
