Position Overview

As a vital team member, you will collaborate in small classes, both individually and in groups. Your core duties will involve crafting, planning, and executing educational sessions tailored to support pupils' academic and social-emotional growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver personalised teaching and support, adhering to individualised curriculums.
  • Design, prepare, and implement lessons focused on communication and life skills.
  • Facilitate pupils' engagement in educational trips, applying theoretical knowledge in practical settings.
  • Provide behaviour support, aiming to mitigate disruptive behaviours and enhance the quality of life.
  • Assist with personal care, promoting acceptable hygiene standards.
  • Monitor and document pupil progress to ensure effective and suitable teaching methods.
  • Support during break times, including playground supervision and snack distribution.

Compensation and Work Schedule

  • Salary: £23,000 annually, plus a £1,000 signing bonus and regular salary progression linked to training completion.

  • Full-Time Hours: 36.75 hours weekly.

  • Monday, Wednesday, Thursday: 8:45 AM - 4:45 PM

  • Tuesday: 8:45 AM - 5:30 PM

  • Friday: 8:45 AM - 4:30 PM

  • Flexible Options: Part-time roles are available, requiring at least three days per week, including Tuesday.
