Sales & Customer Administrator

Location: Edenbridge

Salary: £28,000 - £30,000 per annum

Hours: Monday - Friday; 9-5.30pm

An exciting opportunity has arisen within our well-established and independent client based in Edenbridge.

They are looking for a dedicated and hardworking Sales Administrator to join their friendly team at their Kent offices.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to manage new customer enquiries within the Printing division and assist the department manager in handling current customer accounts. You will also gain a deep understanding of the production processes to help find suitable accounts for the organisation. You will have excellent customer service skills, be able to drive sales, manage and grow existing client accounts, and provide support relevant administration support to the team inclduing processing orders.

The ideal candidate will possess natural customer service and personal skills, a professional attitude, and strong organisational abilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identifying suitable prospects for our client's Digital Printing division
  • Managing enquiries from various sources effectively and efficiently
  • Estimating and providing quotations within quick turnaround times
  • Driving sales and generating independent enquiries
  • Managing the sales pipeline and inputting data into the internal CRM system
  • Booking new customer orders and coordinating with external suppliers
  • Understanding the Digital production process for effective job planning
  • Assisting the production team as necessary and ensuring smooth operations
  • Coordinating deliveries and maintaining accurate records
  • Carrying out necessary planning to implement operational changes
  • Managing current customer accounts and meeting their requirements
  • Maintaining the organisation and inventory of production materials and equipment
  • Handling customer non-conformities and resolving issues effectively
  • Requesting and managing product samples from the design team
  • Providing cover for Digital office duties when necessary

Requirements:

  • Sales experience is essential
  • FMCG and Manufacturing experience is preferred but not essential
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills
  • Ambitious and eager to learn
  • Enthusiastic with a "can do" attitude
  • Strong communication and problem-solving abilities
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel
  • Previous experience in Print & Packaging is preferred but not essential
  • Ability to work efficiently under deadlines and manage time effectively
  • Excellent customer service skills and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
