Looking for a rewarding part-time role? We're seeking a passionate Nursery Assistant to join our team for one day a week, specifically Thursdays, at our vibrant nursery in Portsmouth. A valid DBS check is required for this position.
?? As a Nursery Assistant, you'll have the opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of young children and support their growth and development in a nurturing environment.
�? Responsibilities:
- Assisting with the daily care routines of children, including feeding, nappy changing, and engaging in play activities
- Supporting the nursery staff in implementing age-appropriate educational and developmental activities
- Maintaining a safe, clean, and stimulating environment for children
- Building positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues
- Adhering to safeguarding and health and safety policies and procedures at all times
? Requirements:
- A valid DBS check (Disclosure and Barring Service)
- Previous experience working with young children (preferably in a nursery setting)
- A genuine passion for early years education and child development
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- The ability to work effectively as part of a team
