NextGen Teachers are proud to be recruiting on behalf of a Primary school in Kirklees who are looking for a KS1 Primary Teacher to start as soon as possible on a part time basis, with the potential to go to full time.

KS1 Primary Teacher roles and Responsibilities:

  • Implement engaging and effective lessons for the children that are aligned with the UK National Curriculum.
  • Create a positive and inclusive learning environment by managing behaviour, promoting respect, ensuring the safety of all students and differentiating the deliverance of the learning.
  • Evaluate pupil progress through various assessments and provide constructive feedback to support their learning journey, both to the pupil, other staff and have good clear and concise communication with parents/carers.

KS1 Primary Teacher Non-Negotiables:

  • Must have recent and relevant teaching experience in Education.
  • Must hold a PGCE and/or equivalent Teaching Qualification valid for teaching in the UK with QTS.
  • Strong subject knowledge of the UK Primary National Curriculum, particularly in KS1.
  • Must have a valid DBS or be prepared to apply for a new and updated one.
  • Full-time availability and able to provide 2 professional references.
