Job Description: Lab Technician with Android Testing Experience
Contract Duration: 12 months
**Key Responsibilities:
**MH Host Management:
- Set up and configure MH hosts for mobile testing.
- Maintain and troubleshoot MH host environments to ensure optimal performance.
- Monitor reliability and resolve any issues related to MH hosts.
**Device Management:
- Manage a pool of Android devices for testing purposes.
- Set up and configure devices with necessary software and required configurations.
- Maintain an inventory of devices and track their health and performance.
**Android Testing:
- Execute test cases on Android devices, either manually or through automation tools.
- Report, track, and manage defects and issues found during testing.
- Collaborate with development teams to address and resolve identified defects.
**Lab Maintenance:
- Maintain an organized and efficient lab environment.
- Ensure the proper upkeep and functioning of lab equipment.
- Troubleshoot technical issues related to the lab infrastructure.
**Qualifications:
- Technical degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of Android operating systems and mobile device hardware.
- Experience with mobile testing frameworks and tools (e.g., Appium, Espresso).
- Understanding of network configurations and the ability to troubleshoot connectivity issues.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
**Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with Mobile Harness (MH) or similar mobile testing platforms.
- Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash).
- Experience working in cloud-based testing environments.
