Our client, an esteemed membership association, are looking for a Product Manager to hold responsibility for commercial revenue streams that deliver it's service to members. It may be useful for candidates to have some background in marketing for this role.
The key responsibilities of a Product Manager:
- Aid in the creation and implementation of strategic plans to develop commercial activities - ensuring revenues meet both income and expenditure targets
- Following research, commission and project manage the delivery of member services and product development to improve member satisfaction and retention
- Responsible for the operational delivery of existing products which runs alongside marketing
- Develop and maintain partnerships and collaborative working relationships
- Identify legal requirements and quality standards for services
- Lead 4 direct reports
The minimum requirements for a Product Manager:
- Experience in a similar role, managing commercial revenue schemes
- Experience of project management and budget control
- Great communication skills with the confidence and capability to build strong relationships internally and externally
- Experience designing, developing and implementing procedures
The ideal candidate for a Product Manager:
- Strong analytic skills with the ability to present forecasts and financial reports
- Ability to thin strategically
- Experience within or knowledge on membership associations would be advantageous
- Some experience and background in marketing would be useful
