You will need be a qualified nurse with registration with a professional body (e.g. NMC) and have excellent level of English. You will be expected to have the experience in a similar environment and be happy to complete further training and development as required.
Must be willing to work a mixture of days and nights when required due to annual leave.
Requirements for this Role:
- Excellent Communication with a good level of English - written and verbal
- Registration with relevant body, e.g. NMC
- Level 1 Registered Nurse Qualification
- Maintain PDP, attending workshops commensurate with the role to develop and maintain best practice
- Able to maintain all care plans/care records in accordance with the service's policy and audit care records following company policy to ensure compliance
- Fantastic Problem-solving Skills
- Ability to adapt and address situations quickly
- Plan, develop, implement and assess approaches to promote health and wellbeing
- Can recognise and report situations where there might be a need for protection
Role Responsibilities:
- Ensure that service users are at the heart of the care delivery and their wishes and preferences enhance their wellbeing
- Undertake the care planning activities for service users to meet changing physical, psychological and social needs, taking into consideration privacy, dignity, personal choice and informed consent
- Ensure care plans are developed in collaboration with service users, their families and friends (where appropriate) and members of the multidisciplinary team
- Ensure that all recording systems and organisational documentation are of a high standard and kept up to date on RADAR & the PCS
- Undertake all aspects of medication management in line with legal, professional and regulatory requirements
- Be responsible for promoting and safeguarding the welfare of those individuals supported by the service
