A well-known Japanese manufacturer in London is currently recruiting an IT Manager.You will be responsible for leading on updating functionality of the current system as well as leading implementation of the future SAP system project.
You will also serve as the technical point of contact for assigned functional areas and will ensure data integrity, testing of system changes, and report writing.
Ideal candidate should have hands on experience working on maintenance/support/development.

IT Manager Main Responsibilities:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for supporting all IT system related activities. This includes overseeing data entry, configuration, troubleshooting, report creation, and ongoing maintenance
- Configure the system, manage change requests, and create custom fields while continuously reviewing and updating data
- Oversee IT-related activities to optimize all cyclical order management and invoicing processes
- Provide comprehensive training for all new users
- Keep all training materials current and aligned with the latest system updates
- Project manage the implementation of new SAP modules, ensuring all project stages are covered, including training, communication, documentation, testing, and configuration
- Ensure all reporting requirements are met promptly and accurately
- Manage bi-annual system upgrades, identifying changes and promoting system enhancements
- Understand all relevant IT systems and infrastructure to ensure secure data management compliant with data protection policies, including GDPR
- Support document management solutions to meet departmental requirements effectively
IT Manager Ideal Candidate:
- Hands on experience working on IT- maintenance/support/development
- SAP system administration and implementation experience
- Ability to prioritise and manage multiple requests and respond within appropriate timeframe
- Experience providing in-depth, presentable data reports and analytics
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
- Excellent problem solving and troubleshooting skills
- Able to communicate with all levels across the organisation
- Ability to work as both an individual contributor and collaboratively as a team member
- Experience of training users and administrators to use system optimally
- Familiar with project management principles and experience in working as part of a wider team to deliver projects
