Family Support Worker
Job Description
Westmorland & Furness council are looking for a Family Support Worker to supervise contact between a 5-year-old child and their parents in Sandbach, Cheshire. The contact is 2 hours long, and the worker will need to write up notes for 2 hours after each contact. This will be required twice a week, so the total hours will be 8 per week plus mileage.
The job will require the successful candidate to work on Mondays and Wednesdays from 3:45 pm to 5:15 pm. There may be opportunities to cover more work in the Eden area, but this will depend on the location of the agency worker and the priority of the Cheshire contact.
Job Requirements
- Experience working with families and children
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to write up notes accurately and in a timely manner
- Flexibility with working hours and locations
- Full driving license and access to a car
