Job Description:
As Management Accountant, you will be responsible for managing the production of monthly financial results, ensuring compliance with internal and external requirements, and providing insightful analysis on variances. You will work closely with senior management, both internal and external stakeholders, to optimise performance. Your role as Management Accountant will include managing the production of budgets and forecasts and supporting internal and external audit processes.
Responsibilities:
- Working with senior management (both internal and external stakeholders) to optimise performance
- Managing production of budgets and forecasts
- Supporting internal and external audit processes
- Managing the production of monthly financial results, ensuring compliance with internal and external requirements and providing detailed analysis on variances
- Managing all reporting requirements and providing support where necessary
- Implementing best practice processes and using SAP for internal and external reporting
Required Skills:
- CIMA/ACCA part-qualified, or a newly qualified accountant
- Ability to work towards strict deadlines, with a high degree of quality
- Strong Excel skills
- High level of experience of month-end close procedures
- Strong customer service focus
