Senior Financial Accountant
Wellingborough
Hours - Monday to Friday full time
Salary - £50-55k plus bonus
Our established client is recruiting a Senior Financial Accountant on a permanent basis to work within the UK Finance Department and be responsible for UK and Group data entry and collation, ensuring accuracy and Integrity. Reporting to the Group CFO you will ensure timely results are produced and prepared, uphold regulatory standards and oversee the technical finance environment (Tax, Vat etc..).
Responsibilities
- Ensure the correct financial results are reported on-time and to a high standard to the business
- Review and challenge of results ensuring there is a continual monitoring and improvement in the controls environment
- Develop and deliver Balance sheet analysis and reporting to support the needs of the business
- Ensure accurate cash flow forecasting remains in place for the company
- Be in control of the Accounting System administration (Sage50)
- Complete UK entity VAT returns, P11d's ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Complete and control Bank Authorisations for Weekly/Monthly Payment runs
- Ensure accuracy for completion of Forex & Investment Revaluations
- Control the Processing of Payroll
- Complete adhoc Dashboard Reports (Weekly + Monthly)
- Work collaboratively with external auditors, ensuring accurate and timely data provision
- Liaise with US Finance team for financial information sharing
- Cover for other finance team members when absent
Required Skills
- Qualified Accountant (ACCA, CIMA or ACA)
- Management accounts experience
- Sage 50 experience preferred
- Confidence with accounts preparation & tax
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel & Word
- Excellent verbal & written communication skills
- Commercially focused, organised and deadline driven.
