Hays Education are working with a Secondary school in Bootle who are looking for an experienced teaching assistant with a maths background, for a permanent role starting as soon as possible.
Your new role
This role will involve:
- Supporting the class teacher within the classroom
- 1:1 maths support outside the classroom
- 1:3 maths support outside the classroom
- Behaviour management
What you'll need to succeed
- A full DBS on the update service/documents to apply for one
- Previous experience as a teaching assistant
- Have previous experience with maths tuition in secondary schools
- Previous experience with 1:1 and group work
- Have a degree (Maths desirable)
- Teaching Assistant qualification (desirable)
