Aspire People are currently seeking enthusiastic and experienced Cover Supervisors to work in secondary schools across Chesterfield. We offer day-to-day, part-time, and full-time opportunities, providing flexibility to suit your schedule.
About the Role:
As a Cover Supervisor, you will:
Step in during the absence of the class teacher to deliver pre-planned lessons.
Manage and supervise students from Key Stage 3 to Key Stage 5.
Ensure students stay on task and complete the work that has been set for them.
Maintain classroom discipline and create a positive, supportive learning environment.
Assist with any questions or concerns that students may have regarding the tasks.
All lessons will be fully prepared for you, allowing you to focus on delivering the set tasks and managing the classroom effectively.
Requirements:
Experience working in secondary schools is essential.
Confidence in working with students across Key Stage 3 to Key Stage 5.
Strong communication and classroom management skills.
Flexibility and adaptability to work in different schools.
