Are you an English Teacher seeking a new, exciting opportunity? Empowering learning are currently recruiting for an English Teacher for a Secondary school in Stourbridge This role is starting in September and will be for the full academic year.

This position is full time and will be teaching English up to GCSE. Knowledge on the English GCSE Curriculum is essential & a proven track record of delivering high quality English GCSE results. Strong behaviour and classroom management skills are essential for this role.

The successful candidate will hold QTS and must have UK Secondary school experience.

Duties of an English Teacher:

  • Teaching & Delivering English language and literature GCSE Curriculum
  • Sole focus on delivering high quality lessons each day.
  • Sit in on SLT Team Meetings, having a say on Key Decisions within the School
  • Managing Behaviour - Building Relationships with staff, students & parents
  • A person who is passionate, enthusiastic, and willing to go the extra mile to help and support children reach their maximum potential in every subject.
  • Be able to work well as part of a close-knit team as well as think on your feet.

  • A substantial school reference.
