Intervention Teacher
A warm, efficient, and inclusive school in the heart of London is offering a long-term Year 4 intervention teacher role for a September start for the full academic year. This is a great opportunity for an excellent intervention teacher looking for a long-term role that is close to West Acton station.
Role requirements of an Intervention Teacher:
- Able to work effectively with small groups
- Able to work 8.30am to 4pm
- Experience working in Year 4
- A willingness to help in extra curriculum activities
- Able to work effectively with small groups
- Flexible and adaptable
Main responsibilities for an Intervention Teacher:
- To assist the classroom teacher in take engaging lessons
- Making sure the interventions are in line with the schools needs
- Co-ordinate effectively with Class Teacher
- To perform safeguarding duties
- Perform interventions
- Happy to organise and plan short sessions
- Covering classes across the school
- Cover homework club 3 times a week
