Role and Responsibilities:
The STEM Learning Mentor will be instrumental in aiding students' academic and personal development in STEM subjects. Main duties include:
- Providing personalised 1:1 and small group support to students, adapting sessions to suit individual learning needs and preferences.
- Assisting with the creation and delivery of stimulating and interactive STEM lessons and activities.
- Working closely with teachers to identify students in need of extra support and developing effective strategies to improve their comprehension and performance.
- Tracking and evaluating student progress, offering constructive feedback and setting realistic goals.
- Creating a supportive and motivating learning atmosphere that fosters curiosity and enthusiasm for STEM subjects.
