About Us

Fibreline Limited has been established for over 40 years and is recognised as the largest independently owned upholstery fillings supplier in the UK. We are proud to have a fantastic group of 240 employees and respected long-term partnerships with our Customer and Suppliers. We have developed a business culture of innovation and investment, which drives us to stay ahead of the competition and look to the future with confidence.

About The Role

An opportunity has arisen to further expand our Maintenance Team. We are now seeking a Maintenance Engineer with the right personal qualities, who is looking for a long-term career path and possesses the required levels of determination and commitment to establish themselves as a key member of our successful team.

Fibreline operates 24 hrs/day Monday – Friday. Our manufacturing processes are varied and spread throughout our 100,000sqft facility. These include Robotics, CNC cutting equipment, textile Carding machines, Sewing Machines, compressed air Spray equipment, Conveyor systems, etc. There will be a requirement to undertake training in all these areas (and more), to develop a clear understanding of their full operational and servicing requirements. There will also be opportunities for further personal development through both internal and external training courses.

We are seeking a candidate with a Mechanical Engineering bias, who can demonstrate proven experience in a demanding, JiT manufacturing environment. Working directly alongside fellow Maintenance Team colleagues, there will be ongoing opportunities to make positive contributions in preventative and reactive maintenance, new installations and continuous improvements projects through the site. In addition to utilising the skills and knowledge already gained, there must be a willingness to learn, to demonstrate a positive and systematic approach to problem solving and to have an excellent understanding and compliance with Health & Safety protocols.

This is a challenging role, in which personal flexibility, commitment and making a positive contribution will be required, but also recognised. There is the potential for the successful candidate to advance to a more senior position within the Maintenance Team, if they operate in-line with the Company's Core Values & Standards, and influence others through positive leadership.
