Management Accountant

£35,000 - £40,000 per annum
Our client, a well-established company based in Runcorn is looking for a Management Accountant to join their finance team.
Main Duties
As a Management Accountant, your main duties include:
- Production of management accounts
- Commercial analysis and reporting
- Producing monthly profit and loss accounts and variance reports
- Reviewing operational income and expenditure
- Ensuring accuracy of monthly reporting is maintained to a high standard
- VAT reconciliations and returns
- Monitoring performance indicators
- Working with Commercial Accountants to produce performance reports for quarterly reviews along with rolling P&L forecasts
- Identifying opportunities to improve cost management
Experience & Skills:
- Part-qualified ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent accounting qualification.
- AAT part or fully qualified - desirable.
- Minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar role.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel.
