Summary
A market-leading Digital agency is looking for a talented and motivated Web Developer to support clients with ongoing development needs and new website builds. In this role, you will work closely with a team of designers and developers to deliver high-quality code, maintain existing websites, and meet tight deadlines. You will also collaborate on display advertising projects and assist with A/B testing setups, ensuring the best results for our clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide development support for retained clients by handling ongoing changes and updates.
- Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code while adhering to best practices.
- Follow established version control and deployment processes (e.g., Git).
- Collaborate with designers and back-end developers to build new websites from concept to launch.
- Assist in creating HTML5 banners for display advertising with input from UX developers.
- Set up A/B tests using tools like VWO, with the support of UX developers.
- Meet project deadlines while maintaining high standards of quality.
Required Skills & Experience:
- Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and jQuery.
- Experience building open-source websites on platforms like WordPress, Umbraco, or Drupal.
- Strong understanding of version control systems (e.g., Git).
- Experience with Adobe Creative Cloud tools such as Photoshop and Adobe XD.
- Familiarity with project management tools like Trello or Basecamp.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, able to communicate confidently with both internal teams and clients.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and pay close attention to detail.
