Senior Infrastructure Engineer, Hybrid, Azure, Azure AD, VMWare, Networking, Monitoring
This assignment has been deemed outside of IR35.
Hybrid working - once per week on site.
Our client, am established and well-known organisation based in central Bristol, is looking to hire an experienced Infrastructure engineer to join their team to play a pivotal role in delivering a high profile and time sensitive infrastructure project.
You will be responsible for deploying AD and AAD (Entra ID) to a greenfield site, including various backup services (for VMware, for Networking equipment, for a monitoring solution for VMware, SD-WAN and Networking).
Please note: occasional travel across various sites in the UK may be required.
Collaboration with other areas of the business e.g. Systems, Network and Cloud architects, as well as software developers, will be essential in delivering a fully functioning operational platform.
Technical experience required:-
- Cloud (Azure)
- Project delivery experience - delivering projects from solution designs
- Ability to deliver multiple projects at once and balance priorities and work with an extended team
- Microsoft Management platform experience e.g. AD, AAD, M365, O365 etc.
- VMWare
- General Networking (will have worked with firewalls, SD-WAN and switches)
- Hands on working with physical infrastructure
- Create detailed documentation for infrastructure configurations and processes.
