Job Title: Talent Acquisition Partner
Salary: the equivalent of up to £55,000 (on an hourly rate contractor basis) depending on experience
Contract Term: A temporary full time contractor opportunity, on an initial 12 months contract, but with potential to be extended.
Location: Stevenage
Dynamic (hybrid) working: typically, 2 days per week on-site, though flexibility is needed to attend site when required and to support onsite and offsite careers events etc.
Security Clearance: Restrictions and/or limitations relating to nationality and/or rights to work may apply. As a minimum and after offer stage, all successful candidates will need to undergo HMG Basic Personnel Security Standard checks (BPSS), which are managed by the MBDA Personnel Security Team.
The opportunity:
The resourcing team at MBDA UK are accountable for all permanent recruitment and full life-cycle recruitment activities within the UK from vacancy approval, direct sourcing, supplier and partner engagement, interviewing and onboarding; along with internal recruitment and the processing of starters and leavers.
- Own and influence an allocated business area from a resourcing perspective; building strong partner relationships with your key customers around the business
- Play a vital part in the candidate journey (from application stage to joining MBDA)

What we're looking for from you:
- You'll be first and foremost, an amazing recruiter!
- Ideally, you will have proven experience gained from working in an internal recruitment or RPO environment (preferably within an HR team/function and with interviewing experience). Or do you have experience working in an agency as a recruitment partner, now looking for a move into an internal role?
- Experience using various Applicant Tracking Systems; or even better....Workday experience, this would be great!
- You will need very strong planning, administration, attention to detail and organisational skills
- Someone who is a proven standout colleague, always proactively offering support to your team
- A passion for recruitment and in particular, the candidate journey!
- The ability to influence and negotiate effectively
- Someone with strong experience of proactive social media sourcing. You need to be an influencer with our social media activities and know how to use it for better recruitment engagement
- Sound knowledge of employment law and HR issues
