Installation Support Advisor

Howden Joinery is looking for a Template and installation Coordinator to join our team based at our manufacturing site in Normanton, West Yorkshire, where we produce and manufacture bespoke stone worktops.

As an Installation Support Advisor, you will work across two teams and be responsible for coordinating the template and installation teams for Howden Work Surfaces. Experience within the solid surface/ Joinery industry is required.

What will you be doing as an Installation Support Advisor:

  • Acting as the point of contact for the template and Installation departments, ensuring coordination between both teams
  • Set up and maintain accurate system information for each template and installation to include any customer-specific requirements
  • Produce and issue clear, concise instructions for the installations team attending every job, including any customer-specific requirements or information
  • Ensure "right for 1st time" for Work Surfaces installation
  • Record information on the company CRM at all stages of the installation.

What do you need to qualify for the Installation Support Advisor:

  • At least 3 years of coordination or administration experience in a busy office environment is essential
  • The ability to communicate across different levels within the business and remain calm under pressure.
  • Microsoft Office experience (Excel and Outlook)
  • Strong communication skills – both written & verbal
  • Effectively work under pressure and achieve results
  • Good listening skills
  • Ability to multi-task, being flexible to meet customer and business needs
  • Experience within the solid surface/ Joinery industry is required
