Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain the operational readiness of our fleet to meet business demands efficiently.
- Develop proactive maintenance schedules and oversee timely repairs.
- Collaborate with workshop teams to optimise repair turnaround times.
- Innovate and improve operational processes to align with strategic objectives.
- Lead projects focused on automating routine operations and integrating new technologies.
- Oversee all health and safety aspects, ensuring compliance with regulations and company standards.
- Conduct regular audits, organise safety training sessions, and promote a safe working environment.
- Develop and execute strategic plans that drive operational improvements and business expansion.
- Collaborate with senior management to identify new business opportunities and enhance profitability.
- Analyse operational data to identify trends and evaluate strategy impact.
- Generate comprehensive reports for senior management, showcasing performance against targets.
About You
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, logistics management, or a related field preferred.
- Extensive experience in operational management within the transportation or logistics industry, with a strong focus on vehicle maintenance and team management.
- Strong leadership abilities with a proven track record of motivating and guiding diverse teams. Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration and stakeholder management.
- Proficiency in fleet management software and transport & logistics systems. Experience with data analytics for effective management and decision-making.
