Finance Business Partner

Trinity House Group are working exclusively with an exciting high-growth business who are currently operating at £200m turnover with operations across the UK, Ireland, Netherlands, France, and Germany supplying international clients. Our solutions-focused manufacturing offers a whole range of products designed to simplify complex infrastructure projects. My client are currently recruiting for a Finance Business Partner to join their team within the Worcestershire office. This will play a key role in driving the delivery of the finance and business strategy. As we continue with our ambitious growth journey this finance role will be integral to the decision making across the Commercial and Operations divisions, to drive growth and profitability for the group, a key aspect of this role will be to further elevate the role of finance through effective business partnering and collaboration.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Preparation of monthly management information.
  • Management and review of standard costs, variances, and transfer prices.
  • Supporting commercial decision making with review of costs, margins and selling prices.
  • Presenting monthly review information to various UK sites and collaborating with them to improve financial performance metrics.
  • Working with the business to develop accountable forecasts and budgets.
  • Supporting colleagues across all divisions with financial information and analysis.
  • Identification and implementation of process improvements to drive quality and efficiency within the team.
  • Development of reporting capability of the Finance team, working collaboratively with finance colleagues and colleagues from the broader group.

Key Performance Indicators:

1. Timely and accurate production of performance management information.

2. Strong collaboration with the various business functions, working together to improve business performance.

3. Provision of relevant financial information to support business decision making, which ultimately results in the best outcome in relation to financial performance.

4. Understanding and ownership by the business of financial budgets, forecasts and actual performance.

5. Improved reporting, with automation where possible to free up time for review and analysis.

Essential Criteria:

  • ACA, ACCA, CIMA Qualified or part qualified finalist level
  • A collaborative team player.
  • Self-motivated and proactive in overcoming challenges.
  • Able to be structured and logical, whilst having the agility to respond to changing priorities.
  • Strong management and performance accounting capability.
  • Analytical and deadline driven.
  • High level IT skills preferable.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.

Salary and Package:

  • £40,000 - £50,000
  • 10% bonus
