Page Personnel are partnering with a successful business who are looking for an Accounts Assistant to join their accountancy team on a full time permanent basis

Client Details

Our client is a successful business that has seen rapid growth in the past 12 months. They are based in Bournemouth and do require travel to their offices.

Description

As the Accounts Assistant, you will be responsible for:

  • You will be responsible for efficient, timely and accurate reconciliation of the ledger control accounts and will investigate in depth, and to resolution, any items not reconciled as part of the normal process to result in a clear account by month end deadlines.
  • You will liaise internally and with external stakeholders/suppliers to understand and resolve outstanding items and ensure they do not reoccur.
  • You will raise invoices where necessary to clear the accounts.
  • You will participate in and be a part of the Transaction Processing team, working closely with colleagues to cover for them during holidays and other absences. Similarly, they will cover for you.
  • You will assist the Transaction Processing Manager and transformation experts in capitalising on the systems and knowledge available in the development and implementation of a standard documented set of transaction processing processes across the whole business.

Profile

To be successful for the Accounts Assistant position, you must:

  • Previous experience in Sales Ledger and a reconciliation role is desirable.
  • Demonstrable experience of good customer service, including building relationships with employees and external stakeholders/suppliers.
  • Previous experience of computerised accounting systems is essential, preferably SAP.
  • Previous experience to work from spreadsheets and within the automated Finance ledger system to review and reconcile transactions processed within the team is essential.
  • Has the ability to work as part of a team and to meet deadlines in a changing environment whilst ensuring attention to detail and quality of work.

Job Offer

Salary £20,000 - £26,000
